being in clemson, i always suddenly realize that we're several days into december, and were i home, then several days ago my mornings would have become exciting, as i would get to put velcro birds and candy canes on the felt wreath, or open a small box with micro machines and candy inside, or other variations on the advent calendar theme. and yet here, december 1st goes by without notice.
