done with finals! now all that's left is to finish this compiler by noon tomorrow, and then just get ready for the trip. need to go shopping with jenn, pick up a suitcase and some new clothes that won't look as raggedy over there. apparently they dress nicer in japan. went to wachovia and got my travelers' checks today. still need to go through the stack and sign them all. hope nobody steals them.

last night i was about to go to bed at a reasonable hour for my 8am exam today, when meg told me she was leaving tomorrow. blast! we'd bought the cookie mix and FOOD MARKER PENS (!!) and it was all going to go to waste! ($1.48 down the drain). so i went over there and we made cookies and drew on them. and it was good. i took pics of them all before we started in on them, but that was with the SLR (digicam battery was dead). took one with the digicam this morning of the survivors, but we ate some of the really good ones :) so i'll definitely have to get that roll developed tomorrow. but in the meantime here's the ones who made it through the night alive:



damn you, cookies. didn't get to bed until 330, and then awake at 730 to go to my exam. this after staying up all night the night before. and i still can't sleep cuz i have to get this compiler done. i believe i will try and stay up tonight until it's done (cross fingers), and then go to bed and turn off my alarm clock and wake up whenever tomorrow. ahh, the idea of sleep makes me shiver with anticipation :)
